Jim Wolcott is a longtime associate of Fine Fretted Friends, and has created and maintained our website since 1999.

Jim is well known in the Custom Guitar community, and owns custom-made guitars from the likes of Harvey Leach and Tony Yamamoto.

He currently owns about 20 guitars, and (it seems) pesters us nearly daily about our current offerings. Jim always seeks that 'last harmonic' from any instrument. His dedication to our website, and guitars in general, is an inspiration to all of us.

Jim also recently sponsored a Guitar Benefit Concert, for his local YMCA. He was able to get Michael Gulezian to drive up to Mount Vernon, WA (about 70 miles north of Seattle), just to do a one-night concert. Jim has always written the press releases and promotional work related to our Fine Fretted Friends Livermore Rotary Concert Series... so it was a natural for him to extend this benefit work up north.
